Sankaran Subramaniam has more than 30 years of experience working for several global power majors like NTPC, National Power PLC UK, AES Corp, GDF Suez and Mirant. He has held the position of Senior VP with GDF Suez at Bangkok and Dubai Regional Offices besides being a Board member in several of GDF Suez JV business and the position of Regional Technical Director, Managing Director, and Director Operations with AES Corp.

Senoko 3300 MW in Singapore, acquisition of Masinloc 600 MW in the Philippines, Meenakshi Energy 1000 MW
in India besides being involved in several deals both with AES and GDF Suez covering Renewables (
includes Geothermal, Hydros also) and Fossil areas across the region.
Sankaran is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering Honours from the College of Engineering, Guindy,
Chennai. His passion includes Technology, Macro Economics, Human Development, and Entrepreneurship.
