Skilled and accomplished professional with over 25 years of extensive senior management/board-level experience in the energy markets worldwide.
Kasper received a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Utrecht
in 1987. He started his career at the Clearing House of the Commodity Futures Exchange in Amsterdam and later as a Member of the Management Board of the Exchange itself.
In 1997 he founded his own specialist-consulting firm that provides
strategic advice about the energy transition, PPAs, electricity, natural gas, LNG markets, and the trading and risk management thereof.
Kasper has advised government agencies such as the European Commission, investment banks, major utilities, commodity trading houses, industrial companies, big consulting firms, and various marketplaces in Europe, the Middle East, North America, and Asia. With regards to the energy transition, Kasper advises about the latest and future developments and best practices of low-carbon hydrogen, CCUS, and global carbon trading markets & pricing.
Kasper was a member of the Offshore Wind Project expert commission that advises the Dutch government as an expert on PPAs and project risk management.
